Aly Raboff & Me in Copenhagen
The other day I had yet another inspiring visit to Copenhagen, arguably the most beautiful of the Scandinavian capitals and definitely one of my favorite places for spontaneous, serendipitous walks.
The summer has made a surprise but most welcome return to this part of the world, providing the perfect opportunity for me to show Copenhagen to Aly, my young cousin (second cousin once removed) whom I’d never met before.
Despite her short European trip, Aly took the time to fly to Copenhagen and then catch the train to Malmö, just to spend a couple of days with me, Charlotte, and Elle. It was such a treat to get to know Aly and connect with her side of the Raboff family.
After walking some 35k steps around the sun-drenched Danish capital, including a long lunch at “Reffen”, we ended the day with a spicy ramen soup in Malmö before walking back to Västra Hamnen on somewhat tired, but nevertheless happy feet. A wonderful day to remember, for sure.
