Folks, today we celebrate 27 years of marriage!

On August 15, 1997, in the little coastal village of Arild in southwestern Sweden, we promised each other a future. One year later, on August 15, 1998, we stood together in Brunnby Church near Arlid, surrounded by the warmth of friends and family as we said “I do.”

The wedding dinner at the now-defunct Turisthotellet in Mölle-by-the-Sea was nothing short of magical – a night so full of joy and laughter that our guests spoke of it for years to come. To everyone who was there, and to all who have walked beside us on this journey ever since, thank you.

My advice for a lasting marriage has never changed: find someone who sees beyond your shortcomings, accepts your quirks, and loves you all the more for them.
