Running from the Clouds

Early Saturday morning run in fantastic weather. I aim to be below 6 minutes per kilometer before I hit 60 next month. Running is hard and painful; honestly, I had to spend some time convincing myself to head out there today. But once I was done, the gray clouds that at times insistently hover above me are dispersed and I feel a whole lot better. Running is not for everyone and I can only do it when the temperature is favorable for my body. But as far as exercise goes, it’s by far the most effective way to keep good thoughts and creativity flowing freely and fluidly. Believe me when I say that I’ve tried and failed with many other methods.
