This photograph was taken in 2019, four years ago as Elle arrived home to her celebration party after graduating from High School in 2019. If time flies when you’re having fun, I must have had an absurd amount of fun since that scene was taken. Lucky for me, my adult memories are kinda like short movie trailers, mostly compiled of fun, remarkable highlights.

We had Elle over for our weekly dinner last night. Three well-acquainted adults enjoying the present, talking about the future and remembering gold nuggets from the past. I made poke bowls topped with my signature tuna-mayo-wasabi concoction. We ate dinner on our back patio (where Elle’s graduation party took place) and then moved to the frontside to watch another gorgeous sunset in the sea.
