I don’t know about you, but looking at my photo from six months ago, really puts things in perspective.

It’s only the beginning of August and so, hopefully, it’ll be a couple of months before the inescapable cold and dark season is upon us. I for one am going to wear shorts and Hawaiian shirts as long as I can.

Meteorologically, it’s still summer. And even if a huge chunk of the Swedish work force is still on vacation, the fall has begun – at least psychologically.

Now, I can easily deal with the fall, at least up until November. After spending a few months mostly outdoors – with morning and evening swims here in Västra Hamnen – it actually feels okay to move indoors again.

What kills me though, at least creatively, is the five consecutive months of mostly grey skies and cold, bone chilling wind that follow.
