About the Author
Joakim Lloyd Raboff is a Swedish-American photographer, writer, and visual artist based in Malmö. For more than two decades, he has combined visual storytelling with a passion for travel, culture, and the landscapes closest to his heart.
ÖSTERLEN is his 30th book, part of a body of work that spans city portraits, travel essays, and fine art photography collections. His previous titles include books dedicated to Malmö, Gothenburg, Vejbystrand, and the Côte d’Azur, each blending words and images into lasting cultural documents.
Raboff’s work has been exhibited internationally and published widely, but at its core, his practice remains deeply personal: an ongoing exploration of places and their spirit, translated into books that invite readers to see the world through his eyes.
